This place had very good ramen! Ioved the in-house made noodles and their texture. The broth was also pretty good and the chashu was nice and soft. The chicken karage bowl was just okay, only 2 pieces with an overwhelming amount of rice. This restaurant is also has limited seating, so anticipate waiting for a bit to be seated. The servers are nice too, they were nice when I came in to ask about our wait status a couple times.

7/25/24 TAN-TAN COLD RAMEN Seasonal Limited Menu (June 1 - August 31) Ramen was cool, but not ice cold. Temperature was perfect. Noodles were chewy and bouncy. The fresh veggies of bean sprouts, cucumbers and tomatoes was delicious with the light, creamy, nutty broth. There's definitely sesame in it, but still that nutty creamy flavor reminds you of peanut butter. Hard to describe because it's a bit of both flavors. The broth wasn't overly creamy either because there was added vinegar to it, which made it light and refreshing. The diced chashu had a smoky flavor bringing flavor dimension too. A generous amount of diced chashu too! I've added more chili oil although chili oil is already added to the cold ramen. Love the extra heat! The bowl was quite big, although it was a small size. Recommend a small size over a large one. Would love to come back and try the Hiyashi cold ramen! If not that, I would reorder the Tan-Tan! The flavor grows on you! Really enjoyed this! GYOZA Delish! Wish they were slighty bigger. Two dinky bites in one gyoza and they're gone! Would have ordered more gyoza if I was only eating that. A must order with the cold noodles! CUSTOMER SERVICE / WAIT TIME Server was friendly and welcoming. Server answered all my questions on the menu. No wait time, as I went past 1:00pm on a Thursday. Not a lot of people at that hour, so service was quick.

Delicious, light ramen that I crave often (even in hot weather!) The Food: wonderful. Chicken gyoza to start always comes out piping hot. My ramen dish of choice is the green chili shio ramen. I ask for the chilis on the side so I can control the spice. It tastes very fresh. The staff: very efficient. I know what I want, and they bring it out quickly! No complaints. The vibe: cozy. Seating is limited, but the inside of the restaurant has tons of windows, making for a bright and nice dining out experience.

It was hard to find parking in this little shopping center. We didn't wait much on a Wednesday evening maybe like 5 minutes but we saw a crowd coming afterwards so we were lucky. They do a lot of take out orders. I liked how clean the place was including the restrooms. We got seated and ordered some fried gyoza, spicy garlic edamame and another item I can't recall the name but the bread is so soft and tender. I ordered the Umakara Tan Tan Ramen with the spice on the side. The noodles were great, not a big fan of pork and sad they didn't have chicken. I took most of it to go as the broth was good but overall a little salty (not sure if it's due to it having pork.
